Yu has an innovative way of providing customer service through door-to-door service. The customer just has to call up the customer care and report the issue. After confirmation of the issue, a technician reaches the customers location to replace or repair the phone. This service is available in more than 200 cities in India. Kolkata is included in the list for door-to-door service though it has many Authorised YU Service Centres. Yu mobile manufactures its smartphones in partnership with Cynogen. The latest models of the company, Yunique, Yureka Plus and Yuphoria, were released with stock Android letting rumours the two companies had ended their partnerships. Soon these rumours disappeared when Yutopia was released with Cyanogen OS installed in it. Besides this, the company cynogen denied these rumours to be true.
